Android version နဲ႔ note book ထြက္ေနျပီ

This is big news. We’ve been saying for some time that we wanted Chromebooks to be able to run Android apps. Well how about taking that a step further. How about a notebook that runs Android? Well according to Digitimes, we could see it become a reality in late Q3/early Q4. Yes, we know Digitimes isn’t always right, in fact almost half the time they are right.

The reason why we are reporting this, is it could very well happen. You may remember that the former head of Android (and Grandfather of Android) Andy Rubin has stepped down to work at another project within Google. And Sundar Pichai who was and still is, in charge of Chrome OS is now in charge of Android. So this concept is feasible. Furthermore, an All Android notebook doesn’t go against what Google said about Chrome OS and Android remaining separate projects.

Right now we have no idea what to believe, so in the meantime you can go ahead and drool over thoughts of having a laptop running Android. Think of the Transformer Infinity mixed with the Chromebook pixel. Perhaps we’ll see something at Google I/O next month. But my bets are on no. If the device won’t be hitting the market until late Q3 or early Q4, I’d expect it to be launched with the new Nexus phone this fall. But that’s just my opinion.

So what do you think about an “Androidbook”? Would you buy one? I’d definitely be interested in picking one up, and if Google can price these Androidbooks low like they have the Nexus 4, 7 and 10 as well as the Samsung, Acer and HP Chromebooks, I’ll definitely have to pick one up. Let us know in the comments down below if you’d be interested in getting an Android-powered laptop.
